††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††††† A Decree from the King

Da 4:24This is the interpretation, O king, and this is the decree of the most High, which is come upon my lord the king:

2Ch 30:5So they established a decree to make proclamation throughout all Israel, from Beersheba even to Dan, that they should come to keep the Passover unto the LORD God of Israel at Jerusalem: for they had not done it of a long time in such sort as it was written.

Ezr 5:13But in the first year of Cyrus the king of Babylon the same king Cyrus made a decree to build this house of God.

Ezr 5:17Now therefore, if it seem good to the king, let there be search made in the kingís treasure house, which is there at Babylon, whether it be so, that a decree was made of Cyrus the king to build this house of God at Jerusalem, and let the king send his pleasure to us concerning this matter.

Ezr 6:1Then Darius the king made a decree, and search was made in the house of the rolls, where the treasures were laid up in Babylon.

Ezr 6:3In the first year of Cyrus the king the same Cyrus the king made a decree concerning the house of God at Jerusalem, Let the house be builded, the place where they offered sacrifices, and let the foundations thereof be strongly laid; the height thereof threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof

threescore cubits;

Ezr 6:8Moreover I make a decree what ye shall do to the elders of these Jews for the building of this house of God: that of the kingís goods, even of the tribute beyond the river, forthwith expenses be given unto these men, that they be not hindered.

Ezr 6:11Also I have made a decree, that whosoever shall alter this word, let timber be pulled down from his house, and being set up, let him be hanged thereon; and let his house be made a dunghill for this.

Ezr 6:12And the God that hath caused his name to dwell there destroy all kings and people, that shall put to their hand to alter and to destroy this house of God which is at Jerusalem. I Darius have made a decree; let it be done with speed.

Ezr 7:13I make a decree, that all they of the people of Israel, and of his priests and Levites, in my realm, which are minded of their own freewill to go up to Jerusalem, go with thee.

Ezr 7:21And I, even I Artaxerxes the king, do make a decree to all the treasurers which are beyond the river, that whatsoever Ezra the priest, the scribe of the law of the God of heaven, shall require of you, it be done speedily,

Es 1:20And when the kingís decree which he shall make shall be published throughout all his empire, (for it is great,) all the wives shall give to their husbands honour, both to great and small.

Es 2:8So it came to pass, when the kingís commandment and his decree was heard, and when many maidens were gathered together unto Shushan the palace, to the custody of Hegai, that Esther was brought also unto the kingís house, to the custody of Hegai, keeper of the women.

Es 3:15The posts went out, being hastened by the kingís commandment, and the decree was given in Shushan the palace. And the king and Haman sat down to drink; but the city Shushan was perplexed.

Es 4:3And in every province, whithersoever the kingís commandment and his decree came, there was great mourning among the Jews, and fasting, and weeping, and wailing; and many lay in sackcloth and ashes.

Es 4:8Also he gave him the copy of the writing of the decree that was given at Shushan to destroy them, to shew it unto Esther, and to declare it unto her, and to charge her that she should go in unto the king, to make supplication unto him, and to make request before him for her people.

Es 8:14So the posts that rode upon mules and camels went out, being hastened and pressed on by the kingís commandment. And the decree was given at Shushan the palace.

Es 8:17And in every province, and in every city, whithersoever the kingís commandment and his decree came, the Jews had joy and gladness, a feast and a good day. And many of the people of the land became Jews; for the fear of the Jews fell upon them.

Es 9:1Now in the twelfth month, that is, the month Adar, on the thirteenth day of the same, when the

kingís commandment and his decree drew near to be put in execution, in the day that the enemies of the Jews hoped to have power over them, (though it was turned to the contrary, that the Jews had rule over them that hated them;)

Es 9:13Then said Esther, If it please the king, let it be granted to the Jews which are in Shushan to do to morrow also according unto this dayís decree, and let Hamanís ten sons be hanged upon the gallows.

Es 9:14And the king commanded it so to be done: and the decree was given at Shushan; and they hanged Hamanís ten sons.

Es 9:32And the decree of Esther confirmed these matters of Purim; and it was written in the book.

Da 2:9But if ye will not make known unto me the dream, there is but one decree for you: for ye have prepared lying and corrupt words to speak before me, till the time be changed: therefore tell me the dream, and I shall know that ye can shew me the interpretation thereof.

Da 2:13And the decree went forth that the wise men should be slain; and they sought Daniel and his fellows to be slain.

Da 2:15He answered and said to Arioch the kingís captain, Why is the decree so hasty from the king? Then Arioch made the thing known to Daniel.

Da 3:10Thou, O king, hast made a decree, that every man that shall hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, shall fall down and worship the golden image:

Da 3:29Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their

houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.

Da 4:6Therefore made I a decree to bring in all the wise men of Babylon before me, that they might make known unto me the interpretation of the dream.

Da 4:17This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.

Da 4:24This is the interpretation, O king, and this is the decree of the most High, which is come upon my lord the king:

Da 6:7All the presidents of the kingdom, the governors, and the princes, the counsellors, and the captains, have consulted together to establish a royal statute, and to make a firm decree, that whosoever shall ask a petition of any God or man for thirty days, save of thee, O king, he shall be cast into the den of lions.

Da 6:8Now, O king, establish the decree, and sign the writing, that it be not changed, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not.

Da 6:9Wherefore king Darius signed the writing and the decree.

Da 6:12Then they came near, and spake before the king concerning the kingís decree; Hast thou not signed a decree, that every man that shall ask a petition of any God or man within thirty days, save of thee, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions? The king answered and said, The thing is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not.

Da 6:13Then answered they and said before the king, That Daniel, which is of the children of the captivity of Judah, regardeth not thee, O king, nor the decree that thou hast signed, but maketh his petition three times a day.

Da 6:15Then these men assembled unto the king, and said unto the king, Know, O king, that the law of the Medes and Persians is, That no decree nor statute which the king establisheth may be changed.

Da 6:26I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end.

Jon 3:7And he caused it to be proclaimed and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste any thing: let them not feed, nor drink water:

Mic 7:11In the day that thy walls are to be built, in that day shall the decree be far removed.

Zep 2:2Before the decree bring forth, before the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the LORD come upon you, before the day of the LORDíS anger come upon you.

Lu 2:1And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed.
